Maternal Health and Child Nutrition in Namibia
In Namibia, in-country health leaders are designing and leading innovation projects targeting maternal and young child health and nutrition, two national health priorities. Project designs have been informed by robust systems analyses, resulting in impactful, sustainable, local solutions.
Innovation projects include decentralization of clinics, in-practice training for nurses, optimized ambulance services, quickly deployed container-clinics and maternal health radio programs in local languages.
